Large-Scale Floating Fountain Design and Advanced Technology
One of the most impressive features of the Baghdad Island project is its 300-meter-long and 33-meter-wide modular floating fountain platform. Designed for the extensive water area, the platform supports the fountain equipment and lighting systems across the entire installation.
The fountain's centerpiece is a spectacular central high jet reaching approximately 80–100 meters. Together with digital nozzles, powerful vertical jets, and elegant arching water patterns, it creates dynamic water effects across the waterfront.
For nighttime performances, the project is equipped with more than 2,000 sets of colorful fountain lights and 100 stage beam lights. These lighting systems are integrated with the DMX512 control system, allowing the water effects and lighting sequences to work together in coordinated musical performances.
Equipment Manufacturing and Project Shipment
Before the on-site installation, the fountain equipment was prepared and manufactured according to the project design. The modular floating platform components, fountain equipment, lighting fixtures, and electrical control systems were prepared for this large-scale installation.

Following the platform installation, the fountain equipment and related systems were arranged and installed according to the project layout. The installation also involved the electrical control cabinets and lighting systems required for the complete fountain operation.
The project was completed at the end of 2025 after the installation and integration of the fountain systems.
