The 2026 upgrade represents our most ambitious effort to date, focusing on three core enhancements that redefine the boundaries of fountain and light artistry. The first and most striking addition is the integration of air explosion fountain – a state-of-the-art technology that delivers breathtaking bursts of water propelled by high-pressure air . These fountain show feature specially designed nozzles connected to high-pressure air tanks, which release compressed air in an instant to create dramatic water explosions reaching heights of up to 60 meters . The result is a dynamic display of power and precision, with water jets erupting in perfect sync with music and light, adding a new layer of excitement to the show.
Complementing the air explosion fountains is a fully upgraded light show that leverages the latest in LED and laser technology. We have replaced the existing lighting system with high-resolution, energy-efficient LED fixtures and RGB lasers, capable of producing over 16 million colors with ultra-fine grayscale control . This upgrade allows for more vivid color transitions, sharper visual effects, and seamless integration with the fountain’s movements. The light show now features custom-designed sequences that pay homage to Emirati culture and heritage, with projections that dance across the water and surrounding structures to create an immersive, multi-sensory experience .
