Classification of water feature fountain project
As the finishing touch of the overall landscape project, the pre-planning of the waterscape directly affects the grade, function and cost of the overall environment. Landscape planners must pay enough attention. The following briefly introduces several conventional classification methods of waterscape projects.
According to the water storage structure and its relative position with waterscape equipment, it can be divided into the following forms.
1. Pool fountain: The nozzles, pipes, pumps and other main equipment used in the waterscape project are set in the pool, and the waterscape equipment is exposed after the pool stops storing water. It is a commonly used form in waterscape engineering.
2. Dry fountain: that is, the nozzles, pipes, pumps and other main equipment used in the waterscape project are hidden in the water storage trench. After the waterscape project is stopped, pedestrians and vehicles in the waterscape area can pass as usual. This form is often used in municipal or community squares with many tourists.
3. River/ lake fountain: that is, the nozzles, pipes, pumps and other main equipment used in the waterscape project are set in the river or lake around the landscape area. It is often used in large rivers or lakes with abundant water resources, and the project scale is generally large.
